Dermovate Ointment
Dermovate Ointment is a topical corticosteroid medication for the treatment of skin conditions that have not responded well to other corticosteroids. The active ingredient in Dermovate Ointment is clobetasol propionate 0.05%. Dermovate Ointment is a highly potent topical corticosteroid for use of adults, elderly, and children over one year of age for the short treatment only of more resistant inflammation and pruritic manifestations of skin conditions that are not responsive to less potent corticosteroids, such as recalcitrant dermatoses, psoriasis, lichen planus, discoid lupus erythematosus, and other skin conditions which do not respond satisfactorily to less potent steroids.
