The solution is designed to spread easily through the hair to reach the scalp directly.

• Frequency: Usually applied twice daily (morning and evening). Once the condition begins to improve, your doctor will advise you to use it less frequently.

• Drying: Allow the solution to dry naturally. Do not use a hairdryer immediately after application.

• Flammability Warning: This solution is highly flammable. Do not use it near open flames, lit cigarettes, or intense heat sources (including hairdryers). Keep the bottle away from fire during and immediately after use.

• Area Restriction: For use on the scalp only. Do not apply to the face, groin, or other areas of the body. Avoid contact with the eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with cool water.

• Infections: Do not use on scalp areas affected by viral (e.g., chickenpox), bacterial, or fungal infections (e.g., ringworm).

• Duration: Avoid long-term, continuous use. If your condition does not improve within 2 weeks, consult your prescriber.

Most patients use Betacap without significant issues, but side effects can include:

• Common: A temporary stinging or burning sensation upon application.
