We want you to stay on top of your asthma, to minimise the risk of it getting worse or flaring up.
National guidelines recommend an asthma review once a year, and we aim to complete this in/around your birthday month. You may also be asked to complete an asthma review at another time.
The online appointment system is confidential, so you can speak in confidence to any of our Online Healthcare professionals.
Online Pharmacy 4U offers online appointments with our certified, trusted healthcare professionals. The online healthcare professional will take a detailed history of your concerns and determine a shared management plan, including initiating, prescribing medication, referral for bloods, imaging, or onward to specialists.
Common types of conditions encountered include (not exclusive):
- Respiratory: asthma, bronchitis, sinusitis and other acute infections
- Endocrine: diabetes, metabolic diseases and immunity disorders
- Musculoskeletal: joint disorders, osteoarthritis and rheumatism
- Nervous system and sense organs: ear infections, migraines and pink eye
- Genitourinary: urinary tract (or bladder) infections, menstruation disorders and menopausal issues
- Mental disorders: attention deficit disorder, depression and anxiety
- Injury/poison: contusion or bruises, sprains, strains and open wounds
- Skin and subcutaneous tissue: eczema, cellulitis (bacterial infection of the skin and tissues beneath the skin) and abscesses (collection of pus build-up within the tissue)
- Infections and parasitic diseases: viral and chlamydial infections and strep sore throat
- Requesting onward Referral to Specialists
- Requests for Pathology tests including General Health Check
What to Expect?
Once you have paid for your booking, one of our Healthcare Professionals will contact you immediately, usually within 30 minutes, to confirm a time that suits you to discuss your symptoms and issues.
As with all our online consultations you may be emailed a Pre-Consultation Questionnaire which includes your ID verification upload if required. Completing this will enable our clinicians to review your answers prior to your consultation.
Please ensure you have a copy of your ID ready if you have a Video Consultation so we can take a picture for verification.
For all our services we provide a dedicated Concierge Aftercare Service. Following your appointment, they will answer any queries you may have, and arrange any further tests or referrals with one of our trusted providers. Our bespoke service ensures we guide you through your patient journey seamlessly, without delays.
This service is only for Adult patients (>18years). For children (paediatric patients) please reach out to your NHS GP/ Pediatrician.
