Detrusitol Tablets
Detrusitol pills are an antimuscarinic (or anticholinergic) drug that relieves the signs and symptoms of urine incontinence by relaxing the muscles in the bladder. Detrusitol capsules are also offered in an XL prolonged-release version that contains the same active component, tolterodine tartrate.
Patients with overactive bladder syndrome or urge incontinence symptoms are given detrusitol as a prescription. Those who have trouble controlling their pee or who regularly need to use the restroom without much notice are affected by this ailment.
Detrusitol XL is used for the treatment of the symptoms of urinary incontinence. It is an antimuscarinic medication. Detrusitol is given to patients with overactive bladder syndrome or urge incontinence. They are available in a prolonged release form called Detrusitol XL.
Detrusitol is a slow release treatment, which means that the medication is gradually absorbed into the bloodstream throughout the course of the day. The active ingredient, Tolterodine, increases the amount of urine that the bladder can retain.
Overactive bladder syndrome is unpleasant and embarrassing. This condition will make you unable to control your urination, needing to go to the toilet frequently or rush to the toilet with no advance warning. Sneezing, coughing, or weight exercises may cause an unexpected urine leak from the bladder.
