Zovirax Cold Sore Cream 2g

Zovirax Cold Sore Cream 2g contains aciclovir, an antiviral medicine used to treat cold sores caused by the herpes simplex virus. It helps reduce the severity and duration of symptoms such as tingling, blistering, and soreness when applied at the first sign of a cold sore.

This product is for external use only.

Important Information

Do NOT use if:

You are allergic to aciclovir or any other ingredients in the cream.
The product has passed its expiry date.

Check with your doctor or pharmacist before use if:

You have a weakened immune system.
You are unsure whether the lesion is a cold sore.
You are pregnant or breastfeeding.

How To Use

Wash and dry your hands before and after application.
Apply a small amount to the affected area.
Use five times daily at approximately four-hour intervals.
Continue treatment for up to five days or as directed.

Warnings

For external use on the lips and face only.
Avoid contact with eyes and inside the mouth or nose.
Do not use on genital herpes.
Keep out of reach of children.

Possible Side Effects

Mild burning or stinging at the application site.
Dryness, itching, or redness.
Rare allergic reactions may occur.

Seek medical advice if severe irritation or allergic reactions develop.

Storage

Store below 25°C.
Keep the tube tightly closed when not in use.
Do not use after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
