How to use Nevolat

Preparing your pen

1. Check the pen label and remove the cap

2. Ensure the solution is clear (do not use if cloudy)

3. Attach a new needle securely

4. Remove both the outer and inner needle caps

5. Always use a new needle for each injection

Checking the flow (first use of each new pen)

Before your first injection with a new pen:

1. Turn the dose selector to the flow-check symbol

2. Hold the pen upright and press the dose button

3. A drop of solution should appear at the needle tip

If no drop appears, repeat up to 6 times. If still unsuccessful, change the needle or use a new pen.

Injecting your dose

1. Select the prescribed dose

2. Insert the needle into your skin as instructed

3. Press and hold the dose button until the counter returns to 0

4. Keep the needle in place for 6 seconds

5. Remove the needle and safely dispose of it using the outer cap

Nevolat should be taken once daily, at a time that suits you. We recommend taking it at the same time each day, such as in the morning.
