Ovex Tablet's

Ovex Tablets contain mebendazole, a medicine used to treat intestinal worm infections such as threadworms. It works by stopping the worms from absorbing nutrients, helping to clear the infection from the body.

Ovex is usually taken as a single oral dose, and in some cases a repeat dose may be recommended after 2 weeks to prevent reinfection. It is suitable for adults and children over 2 years of age.

This product is for oral use only and should be taken according to the instructions on the packaging or as advised by a healthcare professional.

Important Information

Do NOT use if:

• You are allergic to mebendazole or any of the ingredients.
• You are pregnant.
• The packaging is damaged or expired.

Check with your doctor or pharmacist before use if:

• You are breastfeeding.
• You have liver disease or other medical conditions.
• You are taking other medicines.
• Symptoms continue after treatment.

How To Use

• Take the tablet as a single dose as directed on the pack.
• It may be swallowed, chewed, or crushed if needed.
• A repeat dose may be taken after 2 weeks if required.
• Treating all household members at the same time may be recommended to prevent reinfection.

Warnings

• Do not exceed the recommended dose.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Maintain good hygiene to reduce reinfection risk.

Possible Side Effects

• Mild stomach pain
• Diarrhoea
• Nausea (rare)

• Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C.
• Keep in original packaging.
• Do not use after the expiry date.
